The room was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed the waterpark with all its slides, jacuzzis and saunas very much :) It is a quiet place, a bit away from Trakai, so a car is necessary if you want to move around (but that was how we intended to spend our weekend :)
They could have a better tv provider (could not watch the basketball game between Lithuania and Spain because tv3 was not available).

Located in the town of Trakai, area surrounded by lakes and next to medieval castle. I would recommend going the in Summer. I also recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner. Very friendly staff, fast service and excellent dishes. Tried both house white and red, both were excellent.
Breakfast selection was somewhat poor. A simple toaster would be a good addition, and perhaps a more advanced coffee machine.

Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced
The rate we had agreed with Booked.net was not applied, so we had to have the invoice changed - this happened on 2 bookings. The room was not cleaned on 2 occasions - bed left unmade and so on.

Spacious suites, friendly staff but could be more enterprising. If The Trasalis wants to encourage visitors from Western countries they need to be more conscious of wetern standards. Eg room cleanliness & make-up. We were very disappointed with the breakfast selection which became very monotonous. There was no attempt to offer 'tourist information' to visitors and the town tourist information centre was no better. Overall, it was adequate for a short visit but it is unlikely that we would choose the same accomodation a second time around.

The best value for money; very nice design of the hotel and our room; great location near the castle. They had all services we needed, including perfect spa and delicious breakfast. This is ideal place to relax. We plan to come back again in future
There were no clear direction how to find the hotel at train station, theough it is really very close; there are signs with direction to the hotel around the town, but not very bright/visible, so we've got lost on the way and asked help in tourist information office. After thet we had feeling that location is just a little bit far form the castle
